This image was made overlooking the south shore during late winter. Capturing a particular composition can be reflexive, intuitive or carefully orchestrated and tedious; the event lasting hours with multiple scenes of the same image which get methodically culled.

This one is the former, with camera ready the elements came together to produce a moment that calls back to 19th century landscape painters and the travelling aristocracy, who made popular the term ‘awesome’.
