The landscape photographer can plan all they like, they are always working at the whim of the elements. Most of the time it’s a toss up whether the composition meets the desired intent, and it often takes months - years to capture the ‘right’ moment. Sometimes it comes together faster than you’d like. Captured with haste during a sunset in 2019 at Smith’s Point, Madaket.
